Get to Know Us
Living and Learning @ Ajani is a community-based nonprofit organisation that provides a wide range of quality courses and activities to create a healthy, connected, empowered, inclusive, diverse community.
In 1989, a committee obtained funding towards setting up a community house in Bulleen. The first classes commenced were in ESL, craft, and cooking, all run by volunteers, and therefore, Bulleen and Templestowe Community House was born.
In the following years, we added programs such as Strong People Stay Young, computer classes, and programs for young people with a disability.
In July 2012 we moved into our wonderful facility at Ted Ajani Reserve.
In 2014, the name was changed from BATCH to Living and Learning @ Ajani to better reflect what we do and where we are located.
Today we have now grown to a busy centre with more than 40 courses and activities per term.
